So after TONS of research and page clicking....I decided I needed yet ANOTHER outlet to post my designs and items. Some of the pages on facebook that i "LIKE" seem to do well with their blogs. So I thought I would give it a go. I think Ive alienated my friends and family enough with my constant sales and BBV posts anyway (sorry everybody). At first I was SUPER hesitant to start blogging...am I REALLY going to talk about myself? I dont like to...but I DO like to talk about my Photo Memory Bracelets. Why? Because when a customer of mine does receive theirs I see the joy that the bracelet brings them. Its an awesome feeling to know that someone is going to treasure the item that I created for them. Most of my recent customers have told me "I can't stop looking at it!" (from new customer Denise Kittleson).
I admit when I made my first bracelet for myself I was the same way. Its the same as when you put pictures on your desk at work or pictures on your computers desktop...your eyes automatically go to the faces in the pictures. With the bracelets you carry them around with you everywhere for you and everyone to see no need to open your wallet or fish around for a picture somewhere in your phone or purse.
I have the tendency to stare @ my bracelet when Im waiting in line or waiting @ a stop light. LOL...ive looked at them hundreds of time and I STILL cant get enough of the pictures I have I guess. Just goes to show you how much you love your family. And having a portable photo album lets everyone know it too. The designs I make are, just like any person who makes jewelery, styles that i would wear myself. I tend to use crystal, glass, black and silver beads. I find that these are also what most people like as well and will be creating pre-made designs soon to reflect those colors. They work well with office attire I suppose. I also like the hot colors (pink, purple, blue's) and will also be creating pre-mades in this fashion as well. Keep a lookout. Now I dont necessarily wear pearls...but my oldest sister is an avid wearer of them. Because of that I tend to do alot of glass or plastic "pearl" designs. They also are a big hit with the younger crowd. It makes them feel like mommy when they wear the plastic pearl bracelets with fabric flowers (without picture frames and can also be made with frames and with glass pearl beads)
I expanded to bracelets without frames because soemtimes when I do shows the concept gets lost with people. My last craft show was a bust and made me super discouraged. But i think is I ahd just simple braclets they would have gone over well with the kids and I would have at least made a buck or two! But Im learning as I go. It has ONLY been a month. I just have SOOOO many ideas rattling around in my head that its hard for me to focus one one single thing. What with the bracelets and trying to do packages with photography
...its hard not to spread myself way thin. I just absolutley LOVE doing this and I hope to continue waaay into the future! Enough about me...take a look around.
